A burial ceremony for the remains of 10 Chinese soldiers killed in the 1950-53 Korean War were held in Shenyang, northeast China's Liaoning Province on Thursday.
About 300 people, including government and military officials, Korean War veterans, and members of the public gathered at the Cemetery of Revolutionary Martyrs to pay their respects to the fallen soldiers.
The remains of 10 Chinese soldiers were returned to China on Wednesday from the Republic of Korea (ROK).
This is the sixth batch of Chinese-soldiers' remains that have been returned by the ROK. That makes for a total of 599 soldiers whose remains have been handed back since 2014.
The Chinese People's Volunteers fought with the Democratic People's Republic of Korea's army in the Korean War against the ROK army and U.S.-led UN forces between 1950 and 1953. http://www.cctvplus.com/news/20190404...
