VS V6 ecotec suffering from the common spun bearing and bottom end knock.
Caused by a defective factory oil gallery drilling in the early VS to VT engines where as the drilling is too close to the cam bearing and blocked by the bearing itself. These engines are destined to fail. Only remedy is to drill the galleries to a larger diameter or to replace the block with a later one from around 00s and onward.
